Up until a few days ago, I'd never seen the movie Up - because everyone I knew...told me that I might have major difficulty with it, but my sister convinced me to push forward.

Me: Just put Up into the DVD player. Wish me luck.
Babysis: Grab the Kleenex! Go get the Kleenex NOW!
Me: Ok, I trust you. On my way.
Babysis: I'm going to pull it up on youtube so that I can watch the first ten minutes with you and be there for you if you need me. Saddest Pixar moment ever.
Me: Whoa...still in previews. I'll let you know when to hit play. Dude, the movie hasn't even started yet, and the dog ran into another room.
Babysis: Omg, I'm about to cry just trying to find it on youtube.
Me: Ok, kid in a movie theater....we have ballloons...and they just got married.
Babysis: You're ahead of me. STAY STRONG.
Me: Oh, they lost the baby. Onto bigger dreams and lots of ties. Oh crap, she's old and tired.... Is that the bad part? Did I make it through alive?
Five minutes later.....
Me: Babysis? Hello? Are you okay?
Babysis: I'm crying. It's the book. The book always gets me.
Me: I was doing ok, but now that he has to leave the house, I'm feeling kinda weak. Oh wait, we have more balloons. Rock on.
Five minutes after that...
Me: I think I'm confused. What's sad about spending 60+ years with the love of your life?
Babysis: It's happy sad. He thought that she wanted to go on adventure, but her adventure was life with him.
Me: I thought it was really sweet.
Babysis: It is sweet.
Me: Ok, I think I want to cry now.

I made the mistake of going to see Up in the theater the week that Corey and I broke up and I'm fairly certain I cried like nine times.
That has got to be the most poignant animated sequence ever created.
